Motorola Media Manager

The Motorola Media Manager is proposed for developers writing media-rich content for Motorola handsets. It is capable in the consolidation of media content such as music files and bitmapped graphics, and their packaging into a single theme file for easy storage. A file having .mtf extension is identified as the Motorola Theme File which was created by Motorola. It is a settings file utilized by Motorola mobile phones which includes ringtones, wallpaper, and screensaver which came from the Motorola Media Manager. The so called themes are small files or bitmapped that modify the default settings and packaged into a single file that can be downloaded via WAP. These themes configures several common handset settings and consists of the following: Screensaver — an animated image covering the entire screen that plays when the handset is idle; Wallpaper — a graphic adorning the screen's working area that might be a personalized image or company logo, and Ring tone — this could be a customized short unique sequence of sounds, or brief interval of MIDI music. Supported handsets include A008, C350, E380, V300, and V500. The P2K Commander is another Motorola application for theme downloads. Files in MTF format can be accessed with Motorola Media Manager in Mac OS and Windows platforms.
