Stand By Soft RationalPlan is a project management software from Stand by Soft with tools for Gantt, resource application, cost estimation, WBS, allocating resources, multi-project planning and many other project management activities. This application enables users to break down a project, build schedules, and get resources and finances under control through features that allow screening cash-flow time distribution and realistic cost estimates mechanisms. It can give users a systematic project guide to facilitate the development of a project plan. The application has three main parts to the Project Guide that refers to the categories Project, Planning, and Controlling. These are the three main components of project management that the software supports. Project lets the user enter basic information such as the schedule (called the Calendar), that identifies work hours and working days for each employee. It also allows the user to enter holidays, changes to schedules, and days off. Planning enables the user to define resources and create WBS. Controlling is used to update tasks and to track work and project cost.
